Ground meteorological and radiometric station
This station includes
scientific instruments manufactured by ADCON TELEMETRY, KIPP & ZONEN, and
VAISALA.
Sensors installed are:
one rain gauge, for measuring the precipitation; one cup
anemometer at 10 m height, for measuring the wind speed; one wind vane
at 10 m height, for measuring the wind direction; one barometer, for
measuring the atmospheric pressure; one combined sensor, for measuring
the atmospheric temperature and relative humidity; two pyranometers, for
measuring the global solar radiation; one temperature probe, for
measuring the soil temperature; one UV-B radiometer, for measuring the
solar ultraviolet B radiation and one net radiometer, for measuring the
energy balance between incoming and outgoing short-wave (from 0.3 µm to 3 µm)
and long-wave (from 4.5 µm to > 40 µm) radiation at the earth's surface.
